sugar and spice and all things crafty

Hello There!

Today my random stumblings have given me some awesome gems! If you like the quirky and recyclable then I think you are going to LOVE this awesome blog!!

Glue Gun Crafts is an active member of the 'Glue Gun Community', encouraging everyone to avid crafters to wannabes (like ME!) to help them make a collection of craft ideas. The ease and spontaneity of these projects amazes me. I just hope I can create something this wondrous, even if it is only in my dreams ...

The below tutorials were found through GGC ...

These wooden stumps have been crafted out of backyard twigs and fine nails/pins by Kate at Design Sponge. This tutorial includes a step-by-step pictorial, making this a cinch to make!

This is definitely my most favourite creation and I can't wait to make this for a good friends birthday! The simplicity, uniqueness and just plain awesomeness ... I am salivating at the thought of having this somewhere in my house ... I think I am in love! Thank you Mr Tim Clarke you are my hero!!

... and finally another masterpiece that I must show you is this stunning felt corsage (by Megan Reardon at Not Martha) , yes made with a glue gun ... The repetition and bold colour makes this design so eye-catching just the thought of making it gives me a bit of dread. Not the fact that I would have a wonderful piece of art, but that I would inevitably leave the project unfinished somewhere and my dog would eat it ...

Well I hope you enoy making these things as much as I have had looking at them. Send me any pics, I would love to see them!!
