Daily Dose of Sugar

Another lovely winter day here in Sydney. Makes me feel good wearing slippers around the office and drinking my warm hot tea ... Of course most people love a bit of sugar with their cuppas. So I shall add my next little bit of free craft for you!


 Everyday Sugar is a GORGEOUS crafty and recipe ridden blog, surpurbly written and very good on the eye! Among the delicious recipes are wonderful crafty links and ideas for you to undertake, or admire afar like myself!







This is a paper folding technique that I will definitely be trying, especially because shop bought 'real' flowers are usually flown in from overseas / interstate.  Making this a much cheaper and environmentally friendly alternative.

Another of Everyday Sugar's little gems are these taffeta flowers. The design (by Do-Rah Designs)is majestic and very eye catching. The way these flower petals appear so soft and life-like make me want to have one!! This is definitely another project on my (excessively long) to-do list.

Here is a lovely quick little craft by livinthemummyhood which I will definitely be creating over Christmas. Everyone needs these little coasters and I am certain my crafting abilities will be up to the challenge!
